PEG PEREGOS

I recieved my first stroller, the 2004 Peg Perego Venezia SA in City Chic, at my baby shower.  I knew nothing about strollers, and registered for this based on the recommendation of the Bellini store I frequented.  It turned out to be the stroller I would have chosen for those newborn days even after I became a stroller aficionado.  When my daughter was ten months old, I retired the Venezia and got a 2005 P3 because I wanted something less bulky and that sat more upright, but I didn't want to give up any of the great features I was accustomed to having.  I love my P3 and it is now my everyday stroller.  Thus far, the Venezia and P3 have been my staples.

Below are stock pictures of the 2004 Venezia SA in City Chic, the 2004 P3 in Cherry Cola, and a few actual photos of the 2005 P3 in Safari.

I purchased the Cherry Cola fabric set as an extra set to use with my P3 because I loved the P3 so much and figured I would be using it a lot and for a long time, but it turned out that it didn't exactly match/ft the 2005 black frames. Initially, I found a great deal on a used 2004 P3 frame, and the fabric fit perfectly, but it wouldn't collapse and it turned out that the frame was bent.  Sometimes a "steal" is cheap for a reason!  So, I ended up purchasing a brand new 2004 silver frame at full cost, just so I could use it with my Cherry Cola fabric set.  It would have been cheaper for me to buy the Cherry Cola stroller in it's entirety instead of the frame and fabric separately.  Another lesson learned!
